Her jungle-y glam-like worlds collide with down to earth bass and drum collages provided for her by Bassist Robert Madler and Drummer Tim Stevens. The collages enable Ana to express and evoke banshees of bygone cauldrons, a Thelonious Monk dancing with Joplin, latin flourishes gone acidic, and a nursery rhyme or three. Her voice teeters on from high Edith Piaf ecstacy to low Bowie-esque swagger, onwards towards a Nina Hagen schizophrenia.
